Todd is a former foster parent currently parenting a biological youth and two siblings adopted from foster care. He has been an elementary teacher with Kalamazoo Public Schools for over 20 years, and a presenter at the 2023 Foster, Adoptive, Kinship & Guardian Parent Conference.
