Foster, Adoptive & Kinship Family Care
The Region 3 Resource Team is operated by Family Bound and funded by the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services.
The Region 3 Resource Team coordinates the following:
- Foster Care Navigators provide guidance throughout the licensing process, questions about current case situations, and directions to resources within your county to help you advocate for kids experiencing child welfare.
- GROW Trainers provide pre-licensing training required for prospective foster, adoptive, and kinship parents. For more information, visit www.fcnp.org to view training times. Contact your local DHHS office to sign up for an orientation and to have your licensing worker complete the MDHHS 5853 (referral) form.
- Recruitment & Retention Coordinators would love to present the joys of fostering and the needs of kids and families in your community, work or faith community. There are many ways to support our foster, adoptive and kinship parents and make a life-changing impact in the lives of kids in care! R&R Coordinators also provide monthly events or opportunities for FAK families to enjoy!
